Mr. Pelosi joined TDP | Bay Area Partners, a Thompson | Dorfman Company, in 2013, to focus on the firm’s capital markets activities and acquisition of new development opportunities. Prior to joining TDP | Bay Area Partners, Mr. Pelosi was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on the firm’s residential investments throughout the western United States, including master planned communities, resort residential projects, urban redevelopment and multifamily projects and was responsible for underwriting over $2 billion in real estate during his tenure.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Pelosi was director of acquisitions at Lennar in N. California, where he focused on the company’s military base reuse and urban infill projects. He began his career as a real estate and land use attorney.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law School. He currently serves on the board of the Institute for Governmental Studies at the University of California at Berkeley and Family House, a not-for-profit organization providing temporary housing to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital. Mr. Pelosi also serves as a principal at McKinley Partners, a firm focused primarily on single-family home acquisitions.
